Math:
Children made connections to numbers and quantities and were able to represent and write their numbers in a creative manner. This was illustrated by making their own page for the class version of 10 Black Dots.
Creating patterns with cubes,
“I have 10 blocks, 2blue, 2 white”
Working with pattern blocks.
Cutting rectangles and creating a pattern for our Humpty Dumpty wall.
Measuring 100ml of milk for our green eggs recipe.
“100, that’s a big number!”
After we finished cooking our green eggs we asked all the children; Do you like green eggs and ham? 10 children said yes and 2 said no! We then made a T-chart to represent our findings.
