Music

This video will show you the way we are learning to play instruments following the music or a song and respecting each others turns.  We explored the joy to conduct a group of players and developing conducting and observing skills. How do I tell you to play without using the voice? How do I tell you to stop? Players have always to look at the conductor and conductors have to learn the way to comunicate. With the song "brush your teeth" we also learned to wait for the right moment to play. Enjoy!


It’s Halloween time

It’s a spooky time!With the song “walking down the street”  we are having fun moving like scary and strange halloween’s carachter. Everyone makes up his way to move as a witch or a monster. We learns to observe our friends and try to copy them. Can we recognize wich musici is played now? I sit right for a monster or better for a ghost?

13th november 2015
we are having fun dancing a moving with the music. We can dance in line and in cirlce and we learned to change directions according with the musical phrases. We invented movement and discover repetitions, can we move as the music said? can we repeat the same movement when we hear the same music?

27th november

we are learning new songs and playing instruments according with the music. Everybody has to respect their turn to play. Can you recognise the music and play only when is i your turn? When is the right time to play for  triangle players? claves? Cymbals and jingle bells rattle? Can you sing while you play your instrument? Let’s do it together!

17th DECEMBER

We learned to play instruments while we sing and we learned to take turns like in an real orchestra.

We learned  songs and dances and we learned to move according with the music.

We had fun singing, playing and dancing and sharing our Xmas recital with you!

25th JANUARY

We had fun moving on  the Slavonic Dance n°8 by Dvorack. We have been playing and exploring different ways to move with scarves and music. How do we  move on loud, soft, slow and fast music? How do we express the music dynamics? Let’s now make a dance, we can show it during carnival party!

7th march

Music, movement and….a parachute! We had fun on exploring different way to play with a parachute and to move with the music. In and out, large and small, on and under, fast and slow, loud and soft. We listen to the music and... we dance! Have a look!

14 April

A “solo/tutti” is a great musical form to explore and to have fun with. We learned “o a lele” song and everyone invented a way to sing it. In the video you will see how much fun we had being a leader -solo, and the chorus -tutti.

may 16th

What a great day was the dance festival! We have been working so hard learning steps and making up movement for our dance "La Raspa". 

We learned to listen and to follow the musical phrases and we were able to dance it even without Miss Giovanna Help!!!! Great job!

june 17th

well done everybody, we had a great year!  

Halloween, Christmas, Carnevale, Dance festival and final concerts and plays!

How many things we have done, how many songs we have learnt, how many games  we have played with instruments and movement!

and now… it is time to RELAX!
