Dear Parents
We have been very busy over the past few weeks as the children have consolidated their understanding of the 'Light and Dark' Unit of Inquiry through exploring our dark box using natural and manmade light sources.

Math

As well as practicing their numbers during morning circle, the children have recently been introduced to the concept of measurement.
Using a variety of measurement vocabulary such as longer and shorter they were able to measure and compare different lengths of string both in the classroom and around the school as part of their exploration of the movement of the sun.

Special events

The past few weeks have been filled with many important and meaningful 'Special Events'.

Giving Bazaar 4th December at Via Filippo Tajani

During the 'Giving Bazaar' the Kinder children met with their Ambrit 'Buddies' 4C for the first time this year. The day was filled with great fun as they made crafts together, drank hot chocolate, visited the Christmas market and shared stories.

Field trip to Planetarium

The visit to the Planetarium was a great way to extend the children's learning beyond the boundaries of the classroom.  They had fun from the minute they boarded the school bus and enjoyed a picnic lunch in the park of Villa Torlonia before entering the 'bubble'.

Santa in Reverse

Santa in reverse is a beautiful way for the children to  help others in need.

We would like to thank you again for your support and for our wonderful gifts. Wishing you all a great and peaceful Winter break.
