Book Day
World Book Day is a celebration! It’s a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and most importantly it’s a celebration of reading. In fact, it’s the biggest celebration of its kind, designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading and celebrated around the world.
Ambrit EC commemorated the day by having a school assembly and invited Laura Orsellini to present her beautiful books and illustrations. Children and teachers dressed as their favourite characters and enjoyed the day reading and sharing their special books with other teachers and students.
Kinder A/R presented their very own book ‘This Is Not A Scarf’ for the school competition.
Wish us luck!
Thank you for your book donations. We added them to our EC library and the children are enjoying them already.
Easter Egg Hunt
Something fluffy and cuddly invaded our garden… The Easter
Bunny! He brought us lots of sweet treats and chocolate eggs. Luckily some of
the Kinder A/R moms passed by to help the children decorate their very own
Easter baskets. What a fabulous day!
Father’s Day Breakfast
It was wonderful to see so many dads attend
our Father’s Day breakfast. We hope that you enjoyed your special time with
your children.
Mystery Reader
Special Thanks to our Mystery Reader! Martina’s sister Matilde and her mom Maddalena came in to share a wonderful book, ‘Pom Pom Gets The Grumps’.
Pom Pom gets out of bed on the wrong side – a recipe for disaster! From then on his day goes from bad to worse. His baby brother is happily playing with his toys, his mum is happily singing, and his friends are happily playing in the playground. But Pom Pom is grumpy and not interested in any of it… In the end Pom Pom realizes that is it really worth all the fuss?
Thank you for sharing your story with our class and for sharing some scrumptious cookies. The children enjoyed it very much!
