Buddies

 Kinder A/R met with their Buddies 4C.  After the 'Ice breaker' activity of dancing together to the song 'What does the Fox say', the students were paired off with their buddies.  They were then given the opportunity to co-create stories using their imagination and their collective ideas based on the creations made by the Kinder students. 

Mystery Reader
Last week we welcomed Mystery Reader Ms Kathryn Ramsay our PYP Coordinator who read the story 'Room on the Broom' by Julia Donaldson.

Please feel free to come in and share a story with the children.

Field Trip to MAXXI

The field trip to the Maxxi was a wonderful way to extend the students learning.  By exposing them to the arts we are helping them understand and develop the 'big ideas' of expression and appreciation which were the 2 main foci of the Unit.  Throughout the unit and during the field trip workshop the students were able to express their wonderful ideas, engage in discovery and understanding of the many art forms and of course nurture their imagination.

 Hearts for Haiti Bake Sale

The children had great fun decorating cookies for the Bake sale.

 Kinder Museum

As we are concluding the Creativity Unit we will be presenting the 'Kinder Museum'.  The children will be showcasing many of the projects they have worked on throughout the unit.
