Math:
Numbers
seem to surround us in various times throughout the day and Kindergarten enjoys
counting every moment they can; whether it is during calendar, how many steps
to the garden or how many students are in line.
We
have worked on a special project of representing the number 1 by cutting and
gluing pictures from magazines. We also started to sort and classify objects. Children
have noticed how items can be alike and different, and our aim is to create an awareness
that is vital for math learning and problem solving.
